I hired Gary to help address several areas including internal communication, operational processes, and performance measurement tools. With our membership plateauing, I was looking for ways to attract new members and secure additional resources for our ministry. I brought Gary in to help. He was very well-organized first meeting with me and then several members to research what was missing from our current membership growth activities. Based on those discussions, he helped us to drive up member numbers by establishing a digital presence, including an ecommerce platform. Gary also helped us in several other areas including an increase in tithings by implementing, Tithely, an online payment system, exploring commercial real estate options, and writing effective grant proposals. His biggest contribution, however, was helping me and my staff to better strategize, communicate, and execute day-to-day operations activities. Gary did a great job for our nonprofit. We were encountering bottlenecks on the line due largely to budget constraints, and logistics and staffing issues. Gary provided insights on how best to address the supply chain problems which proved to successfully resolve a problem that had hampered us. He also helped to schedule shifts differently to overcome staffing deficiencies and optimize the performances of supervisors, leads, and line personnel – and by extension, allowed us to operate within our budget. And although he was deeply immersed in understanding our business, he was not intrusive to our day-to-day activities. I’m pleased with the help Gary gave to me.
